National Programme on Environmental Conservation

It has been a huge challenge to find solutions to the daily aggravating environmental issues. Environment and natural resources have to be protected for the posterity.This programme is proposed to be launched in the fervent believe that motivating present day school  going children to protect and love the environment would ensure that  the future generation would  protect environment. Children would effortlessly get used to love and look after the environment and develop friendly habits by acquiring experience in their interaction with the environment.  The nation will thus be endowed with a virtuous future generation who are capable of meeting the immerging challenges in spirit of cordiality and sensitivity. This programme with design to protect school communities against harmful effect of environmental pollution and raise their awareness in this regard.

Objectives:

  1. Beautifying and making the school premises clean and tidy;
  2. Providing shelter by growing plants in the school garden;
  3. Inculcating good attitudes in children on environment;
  4. Developing knowledge and skills of children and promoting good qualities in them.
  5. Inculcating the habit of protecting environment in children.

Programmes to be launched:

  1. Conducting awareness and  publicity programmes;
  2. Preparing  the school garden and launching tree planting Programmes;
  3. Systematic waste management in  school premises;
